Who we are

What we collect

Details you enter in the consultation form: name, mobile number, address or town, monthly electricity bill, system type, roof type and any message.
Details you share when you call us or message us on WhatsApp.
Documents you give us for a PM Surya Ghar subsidy application, such as your electricity bill, ID proof and bank details.
Basic usage data (pages visited, device and browser type), only if you accept analytics cookies.

How we use it

We do not sell your details, and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.

To call you back, answer your questions and prepare a quotation.
To plan, install and service your solar station.
To file your subsidy and net-metering applications on the PM Surya Ghar portal and with your DISCOM, with your consent.
To improve this website, using anonymous usage statistics.

Who we share it with

Only with those who need it to deliver your system: the PM Surya Ghar portal, your electricity distribution company (DISCOM), your bank or lender if you take a solar loan, and our service providers (Google Analytics for usage statistics, Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection, and our email provider). We also share details when the law requires it.

Cookies

The website works without analytics cookies. Google Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in the cookie notice, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to an installation are deleted within 12 months. For customers, we keep records for as long as the system is under warranty and as long as tax and subsidy rules require.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to show, correct or delete the details we hold about you, or withdraw your consent. Write to spgreensolar@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
